How to get to Torre Pali by train
To get to Torre Pali by train you have to reach the Lecce railway station; here there are no direct trains to Torre Pali, the line that is closest to your destination is the “Salve-Ruggiano” line, but it is still some kilometres away from Torre Pali. We therefore advise you, once you arrive in Lecce, to take the bus that goes directly to Torre Pali, even if it makes a few stops in between.
How to get to Torre Pali by bus
I suggest you get to Torre Pali by bus, as it is the easiest and most convenient solution if you do not have a car. Arriving in Lecce, take the Salento in Bus bus for the “Lecce – Gallipoli – S.M. di Leuca” route (it should be number 108) and in a couple of hours you will arrive at your destination. I advise you to consult updated routes and timetables on the website of the Province of Lecce.
How to get to Torre Pali by plane
To reach Torre Pali by plane, you will have to take a flight to Salento Airport – Brindisi (BDS), from here you can reach Lecce by train or airport shuttles, and, in Lecce, take the Salento in Bus, the one I suggested earlier, which takes you directly to Torre Pali.
Torre Pali in Apulia
As we were saying, Torre Pali is a small municipality in the province of Lecce, a hamlet of Salve, located on the coast of the Ionian Sea. It is characterised by a low, sandy coastline rich in Mediterranean scrub. But the real peculiarity is the 16th-century ruined tower, which emerges from the water offering a truly suggestive scenario. And it is from this tower that the locality takes its name.
Torre Pali has a small village in the western part of the town, while in the eastern part are the beaches of Torre Pali, in a long stretch of fine, golden sand. There is also a small harbour that can accommodate up to 100-150 small to medium-sized boats.

The sea in Torre Pali is among the most beautiful in Italy. It is no coincidence that since 2009 it has been awarded the prestigious Bandiera Blu (Blue Flag), reconfirmed also for 2022.
