Beyond beaches for the disabled in Salento, from summer 2022 Catamaran barrier free starts a new project dedicated to people with disabilities. A fantastic initiative by Anteas Lecce, which allows people with disabilities to take a free boat tour to admire the Salento coast on board a catamaran. The boat can accommodate up to 6 people, including wheelchair users, and a nurse will be included to provide assistance should the need arise. The boat tours for the disabled depart from the pier in Gallipoli from Monday to Friday and require a reservation.
